Hello all. Oh yes, Suboxone does produce withdrawal. I was on 130mg Methadone and 32mg Dilaudid a day for five years. We were done having children; however, I found out at 6 weeks I was pregnant. I went off all of the pain meds and at that five day mark the w/d's were unbearable. January 15 I was put on 8mg Suboxone 3 times a day. Over the past 6 weeks I have managed to taper down to 2mg's a day; 1mg Q12. I found I had some discomfort at the 8mg dose drop. The doctor said do 4/4mgs, then 2/2mgs, now 1/1mgs. About my 5th day after the supposed last week of Suboxone, last night, the w/d hit and hit hard. So. I have started to take literally a crumb to ward off the w/ds because if I feel it the baby does. I just want my baby to not suffer w/d yet I do not want to miscarry either. The doctors here in GA are so uninformed, they have said if you taper you will not be sick. I just want to be free of all medications without the w/d's, it sucks!
